Parent / Guardian and Spectator Code of Conduct

All Parents, Guardians, and Spectators will:

• Remain unconditionally supportive of SYFFL’s commitment to the ideals of good sportsmanship and team play

• Show respect for all players, coaches, referees, league officials, and other spectators

• Inform coaching staff of any disability or ailment that may affect the safety of their child

• Comply with the decisions of league officials and observe all rules, policies and procedures endorsed by Stoughton Youth Flag Football League

• Make arrangements to ensure that their player(s) are punctual in arrival at and departure from all SYFFL events

• Will remember that children are participating to have fun and learn about flag football and that the game is for youth, not adults.

• Be smoke, vape, alcohol and drug free while at any SYFFL event

All Parents, Guardians, and Spectators will NOT:

• Enter the sideline area.  This area is for players, coaches, and officials ONLY.

• Coach their own player or other players during games and practices, unless they are one of the official coaches of the team.

• Argue, ridicule, demean, or engage in a confrontation with players, coaches, other spectators or officials. 

The SYFFL Board of Directors reserves the right to impose penalties, including, without limitation, suspensions, dismissal from the team, or revocation of SYFFL membership. All spectators agree to abide by the rules and regulations stated herein and are bound to all decisions and impositions of these rules.
